Dr. Amy Murphy is Board Certified in Family Medicine and has been practicing in Carrollton since 1999. She graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio after completing her undergraduate work at Texas Tech University. She completed her residency at the Baylor Family practice residency program in Garland.
Away from the office Dr. Murphy enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. Most of her spare time is spent at the soccer field with her twins, or she is watching the Dallas Stars play. She also enjoys traveling as well.

Dr. Kyle Carter is Board Certified in Family Medicine and has been practicing in Carrollton, TX since 2002, previously practicing for 11 years in Florida. He graduated from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School after completing his undergraduate work at Abilene Christian University. He completed his Residency at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
Dr. Carter served as Chairman of Family Practice at Trinity Medical Center (now know as Baylor Scott & White Medical Center of Carrollton). He also served as a member of the Trinity Governing Board.
Away from the office Dr. Carter enjoys, spending time with his wife and two children. He also enjoys basketball, hiking, and playing golf. He is a huge fan of The University of Alabama Athletics.

Dr. John Bailey is Board Certified in Family Medicine and has been in practice in Carrollton since 2006. Previously he practiced in Cartersville, Georgia for 6 years. He is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia after completing his undergraduate work at Wake Forest University. He completed his residency at the Georgia Baptist Family practice residency in Georgia and is board certified.
Dr. Bailey is open to discussing the best healthcare solutions for parents concerned about autism, as he has an autistic son himself. Away from the office Dr. Bailey is an avid runner and enjoys spending time with his family.

Dr. J. Shaun Murphy, a native of Richardson, TX, attended Jesuit High School and was the salutatorian of his graduating class. His medical training began at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, and it ultimately found him completing his residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.
Dr. Murphy started his own practice in 1999. In 2004 he became a part of Dallas Medical Specialists where he was Chairman of the Board and Medical Director. In 2011, HCA Physician Services North Texas Division was honored with
Dr. Murphy as the Chief Medical Officer. Later in 2012, Dr. Murphy began working with the Senior Center of Dallas Medical Specialists.

Jacob Gise is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who joined the practice in 2019. He completed his undergraduate studies from the University of Oklahoma in 2006. Jacob completed his graduate education at the University of Texas at Arlington. He was an inducted member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society for academic achievement during both undergraduate and graduate studies. He is a former ICU nurse with experience in cardiothoracic surgical intensive care. Jacob also has experience working in clinical trials and development for new pharmacotherapeutics.
In his free time, he enjoys staying active and is an avid reader of science fiction. He is also a diehard Oklahoma Sooner football fan. Jacob and his wife are the proud parents of two beautiful children.

Paulina Tran is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She completed her graduate studies from the University of Missouri – Kansas City. She is dedicated to providing compassionate and inclusive care for all. Her practice is rooted in listening, understanding, and collaborating with her patients to make the best decision that is right for them. She is a firm believer in empowering her patients by providing medical advice that they can understand. When not in the office, she loves to spend time with her family and friends, workout, play tennis, pickleball, and cook.

Amanda Gruber is a Board-Certified Adult/Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. She completed her undergraduate degree at University Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas in 2012 and her master’s in nursing at University Texas at Arlington, Texas in 2017. She specializes in primary prevention particularly for high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and metabolic health. Her practice is rooted in listening and collaborating with her patients to make the best decision that is right for them. She is a firm believer in empowering her patients by providing medical advice that they can understand. She loves to spend time with her husband and Corgi, Winston. When not in the office she loves to spend time with friends, cycling on the Peloton, doing yoga, gardening, traveling and reading the latest fantasy novel.
